You can think of that one as a nearly impossible "good end" existence for a certain someone. ... [giggle] Well, sort of.

[moextispicy]

[looks very thoughtful as she looks down on them]

[zettai]

[A voice rings out through the theater, as if announcing the start of the play.]

"What happened on that day, you ask? I'm not telling. Why don't you just give up and die?"

[Then suddenly, an expressionless figure dressed all in white appears on the stage.]

[moextispicy]

[watches silently, most of her attention on the stage but still sparing some of her attention for the other show]

[zettai]

[The stage lights grow brighter and brighter until they become blinding--then the stage soon becomes enveloped in a new story. You see the typical beginning of the Ushiromiya family conference, up to where they receive a letter from Beatrice at dinner.

In the audience, the pair seems to be speculating what this is all about.]

[turns to Lambda] Is this the normal path the game board takes?

[zettai]

[nods while grabbing a handful of popcorn] Mmhmm. Up 'till now is like the basics of the basics.

[moextispicy]

[takes a small handful herself] I assume it's going to start picking up about now?

[zettai]

Well, watch and see.

[More scenes follow. The adults discuss the the epitaph, and finally solve its perplexing riddle. They all find their way to the mountain of gold.

The two a few rows down seem somewhat perplexed by this. This turn of events doesn't seem to be something they're familiar with.]

[Beatrice appears to award the victors, and explains what her plan was. After some time, the adults devolve into petty bickering over what should be done with the fortune.

In the audience, the redhead is starting to grow frustrated. "What's so fun about showing this to us......? Or is this the game of some new witch...? Are they watching us suffer from somewhere and laughing?!"]

[watching without much surprise, really]

[And it devolves into a massacre. Eva shoots Natsuhi, Hideyoshi shoots Krauss, Kyrie and Rudolf finish off everyone in the room, and devise their plan to kill the rest of the family.

"Ha! Show me whatever terrible game you like! You're trying to say this is one of the endless possibilities inside the cat box, right?! Just do whatever you want...! I won't let something like this get to me!! Someday, I'll find out the truth of what happened on October 5th, 1986!!"]

[frowns a little thoughtfully]

[zettai]

[More murder and Kyrie and Rudolf being generally horrible people, until Eva comes and blows Rudolf's head off.

In the audience, the redhead is having a breakdown, and the blond says, "Bernkastel-san...! I know you're here somewhere! Please, make this game stop...!! There's no point to it!"

And as if she had always been there, Bernkastel's figure can be seen a few seats in front of them.

"......Pipe down back there. Can't you watch the show quietly?"

"Please stop this...! We realize that this world is the sealed cat box world of October 4th and 5th...! We both know the answer, that this is a cat box tale...! So, there shouldn't be any need for any further games...!! If this is supposed to be a game between you and us, then we already know the answer...!! The game should be over!!"

Next to you, Lambda pipes up:]

Just shut up already. Didn't you hear Bern tell you to be quiet?

[observes this without comment]

[zettai]

[".........There is a point. If you just watch, you'll see it. ......*giggle*giggle*"

"Are you the Game Master...?!"

"......Not at all."

"Then who is it?! Could it be......Clair...?"

"If you watch it, you'll see. Not much longer now. ......*giggle*giggle*"]

The tragedy has already reached its climax. Who'll survive, I wonder? Eheheheheheh......

Is that the point of this game?

To see who survives.

[zettai]

[giggle] You'll see. Want to keep watching?

Of course. Who wants to miss the end of a play when they've sat through the rest?

[Continuing on, the story appears to wrap up with Eva's confrontation with Kyrie. There seem to be some in the audience who can't accept this, however.

"M......Mom...... ...Mom... uwaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh......! It's...a lie... ......It's all a lie...!! Aaaaaaagggghhhhhh...!!"

"Ange, ...please, calm down...! That couldn't possibly be what your mother truly feels...! It's just something that the Game Master made Kyrie oba-san's piece say...!! Bernkastel-san!! Enough of this!! I don't care who the Game Master is!! Stop this pointless game right now!!"

The theater is engulfed in darkness, and single beam of light shines down on the woman in white. Then another beam of light, shining down on Bernkastel, now on the stage.]
