[She disappears. The scene, meanwhile, seems to have progressed a bit--it seems Ange, after reading the diary, was discarded and left to float away aimlessly until she reached the Golden Land. Everyone warmly welcomes her back and forgives her, but there's no time to laze about too much. Bernkastel's master plans to reveal the book to a large audience of witches, which will condemn the gameboard and all its pieces to certain destruction; the only way to survive is to go to the Capitol of Books and get back the diary before it can be revealed. After some discussion, Lambda agrees to take Battler and Ange there, provided that they'll take care of the rest themselves once she covers the issue of transportation.]
[The scene changes as Lambda takes them to the library, and the three make their way through trying to stay as far under the radar as they can. Lambda once again informs the two that if they get caught, she has no intention of saving them, but also gives them perhaps surprising encouragement.]
[After moving forward a bit further towards the room where they know the key to the diary lies, though, as a storm of cat moves down the library, and it becomes apparent that they've been found out somehow. Lambda seems to think it's pretty much hopeless for them at this point, but Battler and Ange insist that they'll at least try to fight off Bernkastel, even if they have an infinitely low chance of success. Lambda sighs and desists from trying to convince them that it's a lost cause, and instead proposes a different strategy.]
[The group of cats that was drawing near gathers together and strikes--and a moment later is blown away by a giant explosion of colorful fireworks. Bern catches up, and without further ado a fight breaks out between the two. Unfortunately there is no translation of it, but rest assured it is big and flashy and full of flirting. The two sides seem pretty evenly matched, though if you're judging just from their expressions, Lambda looks more confident.]
[watching with the sort of wide eyed fascination that only comes when a show is both interesting and informative. And kind of relieving in a weird way]
[It goes on for a while like that, and seems almost like it could keep up forever. But as the fight continues through its evenly-matched deadlock, it's suddenly interrupted when a new presence approaches the scene. This turn of events seems to spell out the end of match.]
